A great value, super-stylish boot, perfect to use every day for hacking, flatwork and schooling.
These everyday brushing boots for horses are not only great value, but super-stylish. Perfect to use for hacking, flatwork and schooling.
A smart set of boots that are quick to fit and flexible enough that they wrap around the legs well. Read the full review here.
The brushing boots are designed to contour to your horses leg. The curved shaping allows it to sit comfortably and stay in place. A strategically placed strike pad is placed on the inside of your horses leg. This allows it to take impact from brushing.
They are made from high quality neoprene. This allows the boot to be tough, yet flexible.
Due to their versatile design, the brushing boots can be worn on front and hind legs as required. The double or triple hook and loop straps allow for secure fit. There is adjustability within the straps too so that they can fit a wide range of horses.
Depending on your horse and what you do with them, they might need more protection. While they are a great tack room staple, Brushing Boots are great for protection against brushing, but not too much else. With an advancement in materials, some boots are made from highly breathable materials, while offering more all round protection. Take a look at the Tri-Zone All Sports Boots for example. These boots not only offer all round protection, but specific tendon protection too. This might be useful when jumping, doing fast work, or on a big moving horse.
Can I jump in the Brushing Boots? Yes, Tri-Zone® Brushing Boots will give some protection for low level jumping. For increased protection, use a specialist jumping boot such as Tri-Zone® tendon or cross country boots.
Can I turn my horse out in the Brushing Boots? Yes, although they are not specifically designed for turnout and should not be worn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Are the Brushing Boots suitable for my horse who has a severe brushing action? Yes, there is a hard strike pad to protect the horse from brushing injuries or abrasions.
Close straps and wash in lukewarm water using mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Do not tumble dry or dry over direct heat such as radiators.

This is our first set of boots, so can't comment comparatively, but they are light, well made, smart, easy to use and fit our 14.3 pony perfectly (medium).

I was able to order these with confidence as a friend had already "road tested" these on her horse and reported that they were good quality, user friendly, stayed put, lasted well and washed beautifully time after time. Can't report yet on the longevity but so far all the other points are agreed!

Would medium be ok on fronts of a tiny legged 15.2 tb?
Hi there,
The guide provided on the product page gives measurements in cm and inches. A medium should be suitable but it would be best to measure just to make sure.
