We chose this food as we wanted to have the best ingredients list possible in dry kibble, it’s priced very fairly considering everything.
We’ve had no problems with this and an empty bowl every time 🤣

Nothing to dislike. Add some raw food to make it tastier and varied.

My dog albeit a Labrador absolutely loves this food and gets very excited at meal times. We also use it as a reward for his training he enjoys it that much. His poos are well formed and healthy looking and well formed. He is developing well and from what I understand, it is the closest kibble to raw feeding that we just don’t have the capacity to do.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Orijen Large Breed Puppy Food, including answers from our team.

At what age do your recommend transitioning from puppy to junior food, I have a 7 month old Great Dane puppy, she is currently fed royal canin , is there a junior food that you would suggest?
It is advised to switch onto an adult diet when your dog is fully grown. A Great Dane will likely be fully grown at around 18 to 24 months of age. There tend not to be 'Junior' diets, a dog will go from puppy straight to adult food.
You should feed a Giant Breed diet where possible, some manufacturers don't have a Giant Breed specific food and the Large Breed version of their diets is suitable.

What age does the ‘puppy’ food go up to before you move onto the next food?
You should switch from a puppy diet onto an adult diet when your dog is fully grown. This varies with the breed of your dog. Small/medum breeds tend to be fully grown at 12 to 15 months of age, large breeds 15 to 18 months and giant breeds 18 to 24 months of age.
