Does Milprazon prevent lungworms in dogs
Milprazon contains milbemycin which will kill the most common cause of lungworm in dogs. It does not have persistent activity and so it will not prevent lungworm infecting your dog, however when used monthly it will prevent against clinical lungworm disease. It does this by killing the parasite in it's larval form before it can become an issue and cause lungworm disease. Therefore it essentially prevents against lungworm.
