Leo & Wolf Dog Tripe Meatballs

Leo & Wolf's tripe meatballs are a complementary food product which can be fed alone (as part of a balanced diet) or alongside other raw food products if desired. Containing 99% raw beef tripe, Leo & Wolf tripe meatballs are Freezer to retain nutrition and flavour. Free from artificial additives and preservatives, fillers, grains and other biologically inappropriate ingredients, our tripe meatballs are easy to digest and deliver high-quality protein which is essential for supporting optimal canine health.

High-quality raw beef tripe (stomach) makes up 99% of our Leo & Wolf tripe meatballs. A cow's digestive system is complex, as their stomachs have four chambers which systematically break down grass with digestive enzymes, gastric juices and amino acids. These enzymes, gastric juices and amino acids are very nutritious for dogs as they contribute to their own digestion and well as the health of other body functions. Tripe is also naturally rich in protein, which is a crucial component of healthy canine and feline diets as it supports a multitude of bodily functions, including muscle and tissue formulation and repair, hair growth and skin cell formulation, energy formulation and immune system support. It also has the perfect ratio of calcium to phosphorus (1:1), making it ideal for dogs and cats with liver or kidney problems.

Cooking processes and preservatives can damage the nutritional profile of pet food products. As Leo & Wolf tripe meatballs are Freezer when fresh and raw, and then served when defrosted, all of the nutrients are naturally preserved so that your pet can digest them efficiently.

This product is also suitable for cats due to its 99% tripe content.

Puppies should be fed 5-6% of their growing body weight and Adult dogs should be fed 2-3% of their ideal body weight.

This is only a guide. Some dogs may need, more or less to maintain proper weight. We recommend feeding any dogs over the age of 6 months twice a day. Depending on the breed of your puppy depends on the age they can move to adult formula, larger puppies can move over sooner, but still feed puppy rations until they are fully grown.

Puppies

With puppies between 3 – 6 weeks old, you can start on our weaning paste. Just like with babies, you want to introduce plain and simple foods first. Our weaning paste is ground to a paste that will have fine bits of bone, which is great for puppies' teeth and easy for them to digest. The weaning paste is only intended as a supplement to the mother's milk. They should be allowed to suckle first then offer the weaning paste.

After 6 weeks, you can start introducing our puppy food which is still very fine and a simple, bland food. By the time they reach 4 months, you can start introducing the normal formulas.

Adult Dogs

Adult dogs are a lot easier to cater for.
