Would these be a suitable product to use with cats? Just updating my first aid kit and need one that will fit cats ranging from 4.5kg to 7kg.

Cushion and infatable collars like this are unfortunately not suitable for cats. You will find that your cat can wriggle out of it very easily! I recommend a plastic collar for a cat. The BUSTER Anti-Scratch Collar will work well. The average cat will need a 10cm collar but particular big cats will benefit from a 12.5cm/15cm size. If you want to be 100% accurate then measure from your cats neck to a few millimetres beyond their muzzle, as this is the length in cm the collar will need to be.

Your French Bulldog will need the Medium collar size if his neck size is 17 inches (43cms). This is following the size guides as posted below:
Extra small - 8cms - 18cms
Small - 20cms - 30cms
Medium - 33cms - 46cms
Large - 48cms - 61cms
Extra large - 63cms - 76cms
