The small birds really like this product. However, after a few days of attacking it, they eat away the seeds around the plastic holder and the rest of the bell falls to the ground. It then is eaten immediately, presumably by the larger birds. A single bell has never lasted more than 5 days, sometimes only 1 or 2 days.
