Bought this for my easily startled pony, however he did not break it by spooking. He turned his head to look at something and put only a little pressure on the product and the outer fabric just unraveled! I later used it with some twine (just to reinforce) but then the elastic broke just from him stepping back a little! Would be better off with twine as it has just the right durability and snapping point. Plus it's free.

The elastic is too stretchy and if horse pulls a little it will undo. I don't want him to get loose. My horse is 17hh so maybe ok for smaller ponies?
