HomeAgain® Thermochip® Mini Microchip

HomeAgain® Thermochip® is a new generation of identification microchip; in addition to acting as an identification microchip, Thermochip microchips have an integrated temperature biosensor, which makes it possible to collect measurements of a pet’s subcutaneous temperature at the location of the microchip.

HomeAgain Thermochip Mini Microchip is a single use syringe, bioglass microchip with an antimigratory coating. Mini sized 1.5 x 10.7mm and is suitable for any size of pet with a needle size gauge of 14G and a needle length of 20mm. One box of HomeAgain Thermochip Mini Microchips includes 10 Thermochip Mini microchips.

Thermochip microchips are available in two sizes (Thermochip and Thermochip Mini) and are recommended for the identification and temperature monitoring of dogs, cats, ferrets, pet rabbits, small mammals, birds, and horses.

Thermochips provide an easy, non-invasive method of monitoring an animal’s subcutaneous temperature, both in the home setting and in the veterinary clinic. You can scan your pet’s Thermochip microchip with the SureSense® Universal Microchip Reader or the Global Pocket Reader Plus® (GPR+) and it will display the pet’s subcutaneous temperature.
