This is the first year I have had several eye infections and runny eyes on my horse and read the reviews on this ointment and thought I would try it. Really good, his eyes have improved dramatically and he doesn’t mind me putting it on. I don’t bother with gloves and it hasn’t stained my hands. It glides on so doesn’t pull the eyes. Would definitely recommend

what can you;recommend for itchy eyes in dogs. my dog a shih tzu is constantly rubbing and scratching his eyes

  • VioVet Staff

Itchy eyes can have multiple causes, for example bacterial infection or just allergies. I recommend you get the problem diagnosed by your vet first. You can use products like
VF Ophthalmic wash to clean the eye out which can help with any infections, but it is likely you will need prescription medicatons from your vet to resolve the issue.
