We had been using Profibre before this, which we had to grind up ourselves to mix in our cat's wet food, and which she clearly didn't really like very much. Glandex is a fine powder, so you need a very small amount, plus it smells of salmon and pumpkin (instead of wholemeal weetabix like the other stuff). No problems getting her to eat it, and no problems with her glands since we switched over. No offense to Profibre, which is probably great for dogs and/or big eaters, but if you have a small cat that isn't as food driven, this might be what you're looking for.

Is this suitable for dalmatians who have to follow a low purine diet?
This product contains no purine.

My dog has anal gland problems but she also has problems with allergies/intolerances. Could she have a reaction to any of the ingredients, including the salmon flavouring?
This depends on what causes your dog's allergies. If any of the ingredients do then this will set off your dog's allergies. I recommend asking your vet what your pet is allergic to so you can determine this.

How many doses are there in 70g of glandex powder? My dog weighs 11.4 kilos.

The 70g tub should last 50 days in your 11.4kg dog. It is dosed once daily, with or without food. It is easiest dosed mixed into the feed.
