Bought the bigger size for my cocker spaniel and it fits. Haven't needed to use it yet so cant comment on that side of it. Did feel the zip was a bit flimsy as when we closed it with dog in the zip doesn't seem to be finished properly and came right off the end but we managed to fix it back on but will have to be mindful of this when we do need it.
