It was effective, and my cat liked the flavour, which was a huge bonus, as l was a little skeptical at first. More importantly, it did what it said on the packet!

My older cat with long fur, has a great furball habit, he loves this paste and I am not sure whether it helps him, but he laps up every bit from the tube with no hesitation.

Firstly she does not like it. I had to mix it well in gravy cat food. She is still coughing now on a night. Not sure it's working ? Fed it every day to her. Nearly all gone but can say it's working.

Please could you advise how often this can be used for hairball removal. The pack says weekly for prevention but doesn't give a frequency for removal. Also my long haired cat is really suffering at the moment so is it ok to use for longer than 3 days?
You should follow the dosing as per the packaging. If your cat is still showing signs of difficulty even at the packaging dose then it is advised to contact your vet as medications may be required.

How do you give this to your cat. Travis as had a laxative which I wipe on his front paw & as to lick it off which worked really well, but it’s now very expensive to buy.
This product should ideally be administered into the food or straight into the mouth. But it can be put onto the paws if this is the easiest way for your cat to ingest it. It will have a mild laxative effect if used as per the dosing package guidelines.

What is the active ingredient in this paste? Or is it fibre based?
This is one of the products which lubricates obstructions with a liquid paraffin content. This is a different approach than the fibre-based diets which are intended for continuous use and is more used "as and when" required.
