I recently purchased the vetspec coat and skin and found it works exactly as it claims, my choclolate labrador was suffering with very dry and flaky skin and had tried some things but they were not as effective as i had hoped so thought would give this a go. So glad i did as her coat is so much better and has improved dramatically in a short space of time so just purchased another tub!!

My dog has a lot of sensitivities so I need to know exactly what I'm giving him. Is there a list of ingredients for this?
The ingredient list provided by the manufacturer is as follows:
Vitamins: Vitamin A 150,000IU; Biotin 170mg.
Trace Elements: Copper (from copper chelate of amino acids hydrate) 1,000mg; Zinc (from zinc chelate of amino acids hydrate) 5,000mg
Yeasts, Methyl Sulphonyl Methane (10%), Minerals, Various sugars, Cereals, Vegetables

my dog suffers from itchy skin and scratches himself constantly. He always has had sensitive skin.Will vetspec coat&skin help ?
This supplement would be worth a try and may well help. As with all supplements they seem to work better for some dogs than others. If your dog is constantly itchy it does sound as though he has an allergy to something. You may have discussed this with your vet already but finding the underlying cause is key- ie fleas, food hypersensitivity, dust etc. There are certain prescription drugs such as Apoquel which are likely to be more effective for your dog should your vet think it is required.
