Nikwax

Nikwax BaseWash® is used to effectively clean, deodorise, inhibit the build up of body odour, accelerate drying and improves cooling efficiency of synthetic base layers. Use with synthetic base layers, sports kit, socks and travel clothing to keep them in top condition.

Directions for use

Washing machine

Use neat Nikwax BaseWash® to treat stubborn stains before washing.

Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use fabric conditioner. Do not use on waterproof clothing.

  • Place item(s) in washing machine
  • Use 50ml of Nikwax BaseWash® for front loading washing machines*
  • Wash according to care label

* For top loading machines in USA and Canada use 100ml for low water level or 150ml for medium water level.

Hand washing

Use neat Nikwax BaseWash® to treat stubborn stains before washing.

Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use fabric conditioner.
Do not use on waterproof clothing.

  • Immerse item(s) in hand-hot water in sink or bowl.
  • Use 25ml of Nikwax BaseWash®.
  • Rinse 3 times in clean water.

Used this on my skiing base layers which are a synthetic and Marino wool mix. This stuff is awesome. Removes any smells and stains on a cold wash and makes the clothes feel very soft. Also the performance is much better than when I used to wash with regular detergent. Sweat is wicked away much more efficiently now.
