This is the first time I have ordered this product. I had been advised to feed my horse cod liver oil, but wanted to find a vegetarian version. This seems perfect! My horse is happy to eat her meal with the oil and so far she seems to have more energy!

Can this be given to my Bichon Frise dog?
This product is intended for horses so I cannot suggest that you give it to your dog. Though it probably wouldn't do any harm it would be best to use a dog specific supplement such as Blooming Pets Cod Liver Oil so you can be sure you are giving the correct dose.

Is the soya oil in the 'cod liver oil' from GMO or NON GMPO soya beans?
The soya in I Can’t Believe It’s Not Cod Liver Oil is from genetically modified soy production, and this is stated on the label as legally required. Unfortunately it is becoming increasingly difficult globally to ensure GM free soy material, and to do that would result in a significant increase in cost. However, NAF are satisfied that there is no risk to animal health through using GM soy material.
If, however, you would like a GM free, vegetarian oil for your horse NAF would recommend their Linseed Oil, which they can guarantee GM free and also contains excellent levels of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids in an optimum ratio.
