I have put the bed in a sunny spot on the sofa, and Blackamoor loves it.

Excellent simple small bed. However the thickness, rigidity and uprightness of the "walls" of the bed encroach very much on the size of the usable bed space, so it is much smaller in use than it appears by measurements (too small for our use).
The next size up would be excellent for a mother cat with newborn kittens for the first 2weeks or so as they can not squirm out and get lost nor can they get tucked down the side and get missed for feeding as on a puffy-based bed.
