Good-smells quite potent -might put off a fussy horse. I put this in the evening feed only as she was starting to leave some of her breakfast. Noticed my older mare was buckling slightly when ridden and thought a joint supplement would help-so far this seems to have helped and I can hold fire on the supplement.

Dogs
We have been giving our Staffordshire Bull Terrier one teaspoon of Codliver Oil & Garlic in her food every day for the past eight years. Her coat is soft and she has never had fleas on her as they don't like the garlic. My question is, why is there never any mention that it could be given to other animals.
This product is intended for use in horses only. Any use in other animals may be safe but the effects are unknown and so it is not advised.
Garlic in particular can be toxic to dogs in high enough levels so it is only recommended to use products containing Garlic that are intended for use in dogs, as the levels within targeted products will be safe for the species.
