Description

Designed for all wound cleansing, Irriclens spray is an effective and fast acting anti-bacterial protective treatment now recognised as the preferred wound cleansing method. Used to cleanse and irrigate, the Irriclens spray-can may be warmed in hand-hot water for under 10mins to reduce the immediate chilling effect. Proven to promote effective healing, Irriclens spray cleanser is effective and does not damage healthy tissue within the wound. Irriclens spray can be used to cleanse and irrigate wounds. The saline solution is released via a low pressure jet from the aerosol can that minimises damage to newly formed tissue.

This is usually the first item I reach for when one of our greyhounds suffers a wound. It is great for irrigating any wound and preparing it for dressing

Can I use irriclens sterile solution on my dogs open granulated wound

  • VioVet Staff

Yes this product can be used in wounds, including granulating wounds. However I strongly advise following your vet's advice on what products to use in the wound and when. Some granulating wounds are best left to heal rather than interfered with, it depends if the risk of infection is high or not.
