Feathers and Beaky Chicken Feeder is a sturdy plastic bird feeder with metal legs which keep the feeder from tipping over and wasting food. The metal legs are adjustable so you can set it at the required height for your backyard birds. There is also a rain shield which chickens can't perch on which stops the food from being spoilt by too much water.

The design of the feeder is good and I've had no issues with the legs but I only bought this for the rain cover and am quite disappointed. Its effectively a flimsy disc that you need to bend round and invert and then pop on the top but this means that the normal lid doesnt snap into place. It would be ok (ish) if it was cheaper but for the price, I would not buy again.

Happy with this feeder though the hens have managed to tip it over once in 3 weeks. Useful that you can fill from the top though the lid is not a particularly tight fit but the hens have yet to remove it.

I needed a hanging feeder with anti perch/rain lid. This feeder fits the bill plus has legs so it can also be free standing, not so big that the weight of the filled feeder causes a problem. Much more attractive than your bog standard feeder too. As a bonus the red trims make it easy to spot. I am extremely pleased with this feeder.

Better than my previous feeder that didn't have a lid and the hanger would unscrew over time. This feeder is very robust and the lid helps keep the food dry and fresh. I'm sure there are cheaper feeders on the market but I feel that the VioVet price is good value.
