Great product value for money and considering our horse is a grey (really hard to get a shine on a grey horse) all the work is being done from the inside out.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Equimins Linseed Oil for Horses, including answers from our team.

Suitability for a minature? Sugar/energy release for young rider?? Will it cause unwanted bursts of energy? Would pure be better than oil?
This is a suitable product for any horse to improve the coat and as a slow-release energy supplement. It contains negligible sugars and so should not cause sudden bursts of energy, though some individuals are very "flighty" anyway of course. As long as you give it in amounts appropriate to the size of your horse and it forms part of a balanced diet, all should be well.

can this b used for people...or if notc what is tge difference between this and linseed oil
To some extent, linseed oil is the same however it is produced and packaged. However there are different ways of extracting the oil from the plant and some of these will affect the final result. Linseed oil prepared for human consumption has to satisfy more stringent safety tests and quality control measures than are required for horses, therefore although the products might be essentially the same, we would not be able to recommend human consumption of a product produced for horses or other animals.

Is this okay to use for dogs?
