Also known as the Elizabethan Style Collar, the Smart Collar is a humane method of preventing animals from aggravating a wound or injury. Made from a robust yet flexible, lightweight and translucent plastic – which helps to aid visibility.
The patented neoprene padding on both inner and outer edges creates a product that is far more comfortable for the animal to wear at a time when he is stressed. Additionally the collar won’t bruise or cause damage if he bumps into humans or furniture.
The Smart Collar allows for free movement of the patient’s head and neck so that they can walk, eat, drink and sleep in comfort aiding a quick recovery.

We tried to improvise by other methods but needed to resort to cone after our labrador had upper thigh lump removed and nothing prevented him trying to get to it. This cone worked and has a bit of comfort with binding around the rim. He can see through it and prevents him getting to wound. Would recommend.

Needed to get a size 5 as dog has thick neck (53cm) but this is 30cm deep compared to my old one which is 24, deep. Not sure dog will be able to drink wearing this. Not such a good but after all. I would return it but postage will be half purchase cost.
