Would it be high enough for my Rottweiler
This depends on the size of your Rottweiler as this can vary greatly. I would recommend measuring the distance from your the floor to the height your dog comofrtable drinks from, and choosing a stand with height similar to this. All heights can be found on the product page and range from 22 to 37cm. You will likely need the tallest height for a large dog like a Rottweiler.

We travel to France with our small lurcher. He has only one front leg so needs his food to be high up. Will the stand fold up for packing in the car when we travel?

This stand does come apart very easily so it would be great to pack up and pop into your car when you are travelling with your dog. The top part of the stand detaches from the legs and they can all be laid down flat.

I am looking to purchase a twin classic high dog bowl stand but am not sure what size to buy. I think the 1600ml bowls will be fine, but will this stand be tall enough for my large border collie?

I have this particular product for my German Shorthaired Pointer and it would absolutely be tall enough for a large Collie dog. The bowl capacity is perfect for larger breeds.

What are the diameters of both the 2.5lt and 4lt bowls?

The 2.5 ltr is 32cm wide and 8cm deep and the 4 ltr is 25cm wide and 8cm deep.
