I had used the Gentle Leader many years ago but purchased this one for my 7 month old pup Suzi,
who is a dreadful puller. she quickly accepted it and started to walk by my side on a loose lead. I used treats as positive reward. This is the only head collar I would ever use and endorse it's qualities.

We've found these make a huge difference to walks. Our dog is not huge, but very lively and on a normal lead can be hard work. With this she's easy to control. She doesn't like it much, but we do! We just bought a replacement after losing the original one.

I use this on my two girls and it's amazing, you don't get caught up in being pulled and tugged about. My Italian mastiff and my staffie cross both walk beautiful. Only downside is the plastic clip, one of my girls is a big chewer and makes short work of the clip if the gentle leader isn't out of reach when not in use, but she can distory anything.

Got a Jack Russell /Schnauzer cross, and going for a walk was a nightmare as he'd pull, pull, pull - but not anymore! Trots along by my side until I let him off at the park. Hoorah! Easy to put on, and the wee man is getting used to wearing it now.
