Why is it called Virucidal if it is not, and is only effective against bacteria?
Hi Katy,
Barrier Equine V1 Virucidal Disinfectant has been tested against viruses common in the stable yard, and has been shown to be particularly effective against Equine Herpes Virus 1. It is also effective against bacteria and can be used for general cleaning of walls, floors, posts, equipment, utensils and food preparation areas.
Diltuions for use are:
Genera cleaning: Dilute 1:40 parts water.
Bactericidal disinfection: Dilute 1:50 parts water.
Equine Herpes Virus (EHV-1): Dilute 1:100 parts water.
