The Ancol Training Whistle is a 'Silent' gog whistle. It is an important tool for the serious dog trainer that although sold as 'silent' can be adjusted to best suit the dog and/or trainer. Air can be heard passing over the fipple but the shrill of the whistle can be altered to be silent.

bit bigger than most, but very easy to set pitch, solid and well made, good loud whistle (but high pitch means not obtrusive). My spaniel really notices it, which is a good commendation

Great whistle, my youngest responds very well to the whistle, but not to voice commands. Downside as another reviewer has said is that the bits come loose fairly easily as a result I also lost most of the whistle today. It was so good I will order one or two more and super glue the lock nut when I get the chosen pitch.

Put on a chain, wore it round my neck, third time out it unscrewed itself and fell off! Third one I've lost in as many months.... Worked fine before that though, must just remember to keep it in my pocket!
