Hi I have two border collies active one suffers regular bowel upset been to the vets can’t get to the bottom would a higher protein diet be beneficial as they are on dry food that’s 38%protein with carbohydrates
It is advised to follow your vet's advice primarily for the treatment of this. If you are wanting to change the diet to rule out a dietary cause to the bowel upsets then I suggest performing a food trial, this approach is to rule out a food allergy. You may also want to try using gut supplements, such as ReguTum Gastrointestinal Powder. This contains ingredients to help normalise gut function to reduce the chance episodes occuring.

Is there potato and oats in this food it doesn't say it on the ingredients on this sight but seen somewhere else is says it does
