Sparky is a very hot highly strung stressy horse. Iāve found this has helped him listen a bit more instead of loosing his head. He certainly seems a bit more settled in ridden work. Not affected his performance or doped him at all just take his edginess off.

After years of phaffing around with bits, blinkers, gadgets other calmers this actually works, and works straight away. My ISH is so spooky and big and strong, I've had 5 years of phaffing with stuff and wondering if I should sell him. This chills him out, I can ride on the busy road by us and have no worries, even ride on the buckle if I wanted to. it's changed everything for the positive. I only use before a road ride, no need to build up over time like some calmers, I feed maybe an hour before riding, I couldn't recommend enough and will continue.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding CLOP Liquid Calmer for Horses, including answers from our team.
Wendy Crees
How long can my horse be on clop for he is a 16.2hh
Valerian based calmers such as CLOP are very safe and can be given for as long as required. Many horses take this kind of supplement daily long term. If you intend to keep your horse on CLOP long term then you may find that you can give a lower maintenance dose and still have the same effect. Though this will depend on your individual horse.

What are the ingredients and amounts of this calmer
What is the strength of the valerian?
The ingredients of the product are linseed oil and valerian.
As it is a natural product, it is difficult to determine how strong the actual valerian product is itself, but it is in the product at 0.5%

I could not find what is in your calmer. Could have I detailed analysis please?
This calmer is based on Valerian compound (a herbal product which is regarded as safe and effective as a calming agent, but is not permitted to be used in competition horses). It is not based on magnesium for its effect.
