Food allergy and intolerance are potentially serious problems that can result in sensitive or irritated skin, coat and ear conditions or even digestive problems. Pets, primarily dogs that have a food allergy or intolerance, also called adverse reactions to food, are typically having an abnormal response to the protein in the food.
Hills Z/D ULTRA Allergen Free has been exclusively formulated with Hills Hydrolyzed Protein System, a process that eliminates intact animal proteins and significantly reduces the possibility of an adverse reaction to food.Reactions often occur as a result of ingesting beef, dairy products & wheat: Hills Z/D ULTRA Allergen Free eliminates these from the diet.
Does your dog have problems with allergies? why not ask your vet if the z/d diet could be appropriate for your dog!!!

I use this product on a dog with pancreatic enzyme deficiency and find that it is the only food that produces firm stools and also he gains/maintains his weight on it. A bit expensive but worth it.
