Gastrointestinal (GI) disorders may affect the stomach, intestines, or both. They can cause vomiting, mal-digestion, diarrhoea, or constipation. Animals may lose weight and become dehydrated. Some of the more common symptoms include vomiting, flatulence, weakness, diarrhoea or constipation.I/D was developed to help manage GI disorders in dogs, such as flatulence, diarrhoea (small intestinal- and certain large intestinal diarrhoea), pancreatitis and gastric disorders.
Indications:
Gastrointestinal disorders: gastritis, enteritis, colitis, inflammatory bowel disease (i.e. most causes of diarrhoea, plus mal-absorption, bacterial overgrowth, lymphangiectasia).
Recovery from gastrointestinal surgery.
Recovery from minor surgical procedures and mildly debilitating conditions.
Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.
Acute pancreatitis, without hyperlipidaemia.
Bloat (gastric dilatation and volvulus).
Complete for growing puppies.

this is the best result ever from having my westie on this food.Before finding this food l had her on royal canine but she was continually up the vets. She had upset tummy and terrible wind, and her tummy made terrible noises. She had to have pills and medication even then it was more or less a CONTINUOUS AILMENT, Now on the above it is so different for her, we have not been to the vet for 4months she is much happier, even if her tummy does have an off day it is over very quickly with no trip to the vet.it is certainly a sucess story for Jess, my west highland terrier
