Stick with Frontline

I have kept cats for many years and currently have 4. I have always used Frontline to control fleas with absolutely no problems. I recently saw Effipro advertised and decided to give it a try. After all, it is supposedly the same as Frontline with Fipronil as the active ingredient. I first used the product 2 months ago. Since using it, my cats are constantly scratching and we can regularly see fleas on them. I have had to spray the house to try to control the fleas from breeding in soft furnishings. I never, ever had this problem with Frontline. I even gave the cats their second dose of Effipro slightly earlier than I should have hoping that it would eventually kick in and start working. However, the cats ( and my husband) were scratching just the same. This product in my opinion is a complete waste of money. My advice? Stick with Frontline - it may be more expensive but it does exactly what it says on the box!
