Omega Nettle Leaves
A natural herb for supporting the health of urinary, cardiovascular and circulatory systems
Nettles have a bad reputation for being nothing more than a pesky, stinging weed. However, when cut down and dried, that vicious sting is lost, and the plant be consumed by both human and horse. A valuable herb and highly nutritious, nettle leaves are packed with calcium, silica, iron, phosphates and vitamins B, C, and K. When consumed, this herb supports the health of the urinary system and circulation, while applying externally can soothe muscles and skin.
Nettles are a valuable supplement for the following reasons:
Despite their sting, nettles are a nutritional powerhouse for all-round health. Highly palatable, Omega Equine’s Nettle Leaves are sourced in the UK to ensure product quality. Audrey Smith
My chinchilla adores naturespaws simply leaves - nettle leaves, however, they seem to be a discontinued product, which is very upsetting as he loves them so much! Are these nettle leaves the same thing. It only mentions edible to humans and horses, but are they ok for chinchillas, and are they nice leaves, as in a good size, not a ground up mix of leaves? Thank you.
Chinchillas can eat Nettle leaves safely as part of a balanced diet. This product is intended for use in horses only so I cannot guarantee it's safety in Chinchillas, however the product is 100% Nettle leaf which is safe for Chinchillas to ingest.
