I had this in my gerbils cage for months and he did nothing with it despite being a huge chewer so i moved it out and ended up giving it to my rats as they had one in their last home so I thought they'd appreciate it but apart from the odd teeth mark they really just trip over it and use it as a stool to jump from.
Plus worth noting inside it's just a small wooden ball as far as I'm aware.
