Do I need a prescription for this flea treatment
You do not need a prescription to purchase this medication, it is an over the counter product.

Hi ive always used advantage on my bunnies is this still safe ,also how long does it last for as advantage is only a week, thanks
ImidaFLEA Spot On contains the same active ingredient as Advantage, it is just a different brand. Therefore it has the same effect. It is safe for use in rabbits and needs to be repeated weekly in bunnies.

Can you advise what the mimimun length of time between doses is?
I applied recently, but cat still has fleas, and would like to know when safe to apply again.
Obviously it's difficult to know if it's not effective, or the fleas are coming from else where
This product should be used at most once every 4 weeks as it lasts this long in your cat. It can take 2 to 3 months to clear a flea infestation, even if using a good product like this. I recommend reading our blog for a full guide on the issue. You will need to treat the environment also: Help - my pet's got fleas!

can it be used on pregnant or lactating bitches
The datasheet for this product states the following:
Studies on pregnant and lactating bitches, queens and does together with
their offspring are limited. Evidence so far suggests that no adverse
effects are to be expected in these animals. Consult your veterinary
surgeon before using in pregnant or nursing animals.
