Sorry for the off-label review, but I wanted to give advice to other fishkeepers in my situation:
Having lost half a dozen fish to camalanus worm, with all fish worming treatments failing to treat the problem, I learned that Levamisole could be used to kill them - but at the time of writing, you cannot get a fish-version in the UK. I had no idea if Harkerverm would be safe to use on fish, but decided to try as I had nothing to lose, and I have had great success in treating tropical fish. I did lose one already very sick fish during treatment, but all others I have treated have survived. Harkerverm definitely, directly saved the life of one fish I caught with very early symptoms (visible worms, lethargic, but the fish still eating), she was back to normal behaviour after 48hrs and shed the last worm after 4 days. I treated at a rate of 3.125ml Harkerverm to 20l tank water, leaving the harkerverm for 3-4 days before doing a very large waterchange and 100% gravel vac. I continued to feed the fish, although I found they often refuse to eat on day 1. I was recommended 2 treatments of levamisole 3 weeks apart, so this is what I have done, and I have had no fish show any symptoms since using this treatment regime. I have used in hard, neutral and soft water at the same rate - and I have treated live bearers, loaches, panda gara, siamese fighters and neon tetra.
Viovet offer a speedy and efficient service - which is perfect, as I feel you need to start treatment asap after noticing the first worm protruding from the fish, to have any chance of saving it. However, regardless, if one fish in a tank has camalanus worm, you need to treat the whole tank and all fish in it.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Harkers Harka-verm Liquid Wormer for Birds, including answers from our team.
Chook friend
Hi, is it safe to eat eggs with this treatment or best to leave eggs for a certain amount of time? Thanks
This wormer is only safe for use in cage/aviary birds and pidgeons that are not in the human food chain. If your birds are producing eggs for human consumption then the product cannot be used in them. This is because the product has not been tested and withdrawal periods are unknown.
If you wish to worm your birds and they are chickens, turkey or geese then I recommend either Flubenvet or Flubendazole 1%. This is licensed and safe for use in pet birds that are having their eggs/meat consumed non commercially.

Would this wormer world for my peahen?
I have contacted Harkers, who manufacture this product, and they have confirmed it is safe for use in Peacocks and Peahens at the standard dosing.

Chickens eating well but losing weight and dieing
If your chickens are affected by worms then this should be a good product to use. However given the information you have supplied I cannot be certain this is the case and so ideally you should get your vet to check your chickens and tell you if worming is a sensible plan, or if some other treatment might be more appropriate.
