45 Clean ears but a little greasy
Verified Purchase

By on 2 February 2022

This gets my dogs ear clean but it is slightly greasy and leaves the hair around her ears a little bit messy. It also goes a long way when she flicks her head and makes a mess so donā€™t put it in anywhere near walls or furniture. I use it in the kitchen where I can wipe the cupboards. I also do not like the smell of it. It does em to work at keeping the ears clean.

Hair discolouration after using CleanAural Sensitive ear cleaner

Pepper

I have a 6 month ā€˜salt & pepperā€™ Miniature schnauzer.
After using CleanAural there is a dark reddish discolouration in his outer ear hair ā€¦is this normal?

  • VioVet Staff

A dark brown to reddish discolouration is usually related to wax rather than the cleaning product itself. If you are cleaning effectively then you may be getting wax out well that is staining the hair here.
If you are concerned then please email photos of what you are seeing to [email protected] so we can assist further.
